This is a coming out of sorts for me, a long time in the making. Just because I spent a lifetime thinking about things does not guarantee me being smarter or more understanding than others. What it did was provide the opportunity to think, review, re-think, and synthesize. But then comes the need to express one’s self, out loud and in public.
If there is a ‘purpose’ for this blog, it is to share some of my thoughts on things that interest me.
I look forward to the prospect of thoughtful comments, particularly the critical ones, but I reserve the right not to respond to any submitted comment as I see fit and without any obligation to explain myself. It is not that I seek to censor the discourse, but rather wish to restrict the spammers, the simply inane, and off-topic threads.
